Design focused tests for a feature or bug fix.

Workflow

Read the requirement and inspect existing test conventions.
Identify observable behaviour, failure modes, and trust boundaries.
Prioritise a representative success case and high-impact edge cases.
Use realistic inputs and deterministic dependencies.
Assert externally visible outcomes rather than internal call order.
Run the relevant suite and report the result accurately.

Output

Explain which behaviour each test protects. Include regression coverage for confirmed bugs. Avoid snapshotting large unrelated structures or duplicating implementation logic in assertions. State any tests you could not run.
